The Venus Italica statue was created by Italian sculptor Antonio Canova in 1802 to replace the Venus of Medica statue taken to the Louvre by Napoleon, and is one of the sculptor's masterpieces. Located in the Palatine Gallery of Palazzo Pitti in Florence.
The statuette was made by the Italian sculptor Amilcare Santini for a factory that produces copies of sculptures for the Vatican Museums, the Metropolitan Museum, the Hermitage and other museums around the world.
The material of the statuette is marble powder, the base material is marble. Dimensions 4.7"x5.9"x16.9" (12x15x43 cm), weight 6.2 lbs (2.8 kg).
