The original bronze statue of David was created by Italian sculptor Donatello around 1440. Considered to be the first depiction of a free-standing nude figure since antiquity. Located in the Bargello Museum in Florence.
The statuette was made by the Italian sculptor Gino Ruggeri for a factory that produces copies of sculptures for the Vatican Museums, the Metropolitan Museum, the Hermitage and other museums around the world.
The material of the sculpture is marble powder, the base material is marble. Dimensions 4.3" x 3.9" x H11.4" (11 x 10 x H29 cm), weight 2.0 lbs (0.9 kg).
