The chess pieces are made of solid brass and covered with a special varnish.
King's height 3.8" (9.7 cm), base diameter 1.2" (3.0 cm).
The chessboard is covered with high-quality leatherette with an image of an old world map and has a removable top, under which there are cells for storing pieces and a set for playing backgammon. On the reverse side of the chess top there is a backgammon field.
Board size 18.9" x 18.9" x 2.0" (48 x 48 x 5 cm), square size 2.0" (5.0 cm).
