The chess set pieces depict characters from the Italian Renaissance in Florence.
The pieces are made of special zamak alloy and covered with special varnish.
King's height 5.5" (14.0 cm), base diameter 1.5" (3.8 cm).
The chessboard is made of wood covered with black mat varnish and has two drawers for storing pieces. The chessboard top is made of black and white Italian marble. 
Board size 21.7" x 21.7" x 4.7" (55 x 55 x 12 cm), square size 2.2" (5.7 cm).
