Medusa - in ancient Greek mythology, a monster with a woman's face and snakes instead of hair, one glance at which turned a person to stone. She was beheaded by Perseus with the assistance of the gods Athena and Hermes.
The statuette was made by the Italian sculptor Amilcare Santini for a factory that produces copies of sculptures for the Vatican Museums, the Metropolitan Museum, the Hermitage and other museums around the world.
The material of the sculpture is marble powder, the base material is marble. Height 15.0" (38 cm), weight 8.8 lbs (4.0 kg).
Available in white and gray marble.
