Marble statuette of VENUS DE MILO (copy by G.Ruggeri) 600030023

The ancient Greek statue of Aphrodite (Venus to the Romans), created around 130 BC, was discovered in 1820 on the Greek island of Milos. It is on display at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

The statuette was made by the Italian sculptor Gino Ruggeri for a factory that produces copies of sculptures for the Vatican Museums, the Metropolitan Museum, the Hermitage and other museums around the world.

The material of the statuette is marble powder, the base material is marble. Height 15.7" (40 cm), weight 6.6 lbs (3.0 kg).

Available in white and gray marble.
