Luxury chess set "Crusaders vs saracens" 600140001 (bronze, gold/silver plated)
The chess pieces from the exclusive set “Crusaders vs saracens” are cast from a high-quality bronze with the “lost wax casting” technology, used even by the famous Italian sculptors Benvenuto Cellini and Lorenzo Ghiberti. After casting, each piece is finished manually by the master, and then manually covered with 24-carat gold and 925 sterling silver. King's height 3.3" (8.5 cm).
The chessboard is made out of the best italian onyx, white carrara marble and framed in the base cast in bronze. On the sides of the chessboard there are images on the subject of the battle, and there are four reeling horses serving as supports to the chessboard. Each piece of onyx and marble is brought up by the master manually and then the whole board is also manually assembled. The decorative elements of the board are also covered with 24-carat gold and 925 sterling silver. Board size 13.8" x 13.8" (35 x 35 cm).
The chess set is made exclusively to order, only in Italy, numbered and signed by the master, with certificate of authenticity. The set is delivered in two packs with overall weight 33.0 lbs (15 kg). Shipment is carried out within 60 days after payment.
